Capt. Uppili Seshadri, did his Pre-Sea Training at T.S. Rajendra in the year 1976. From 1976 to 81, Completed his Cadetship training, 3rd and 2nd Officer with Scandia Steam Ship. There after he sailed in various ships in an ascending ranks and got his Command in the year 1985. Till the year 2016, he sailed in different Foreign Flag Ships like Reefer, Container and Cape Size Bulk Carriers. Briefly he also worked as Operations Manager with Marine Containers Ltd and JM Baxi. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in AMET University, Chennai, teaching pre sea cadets on subjects Polar Navigation, Cargo Work, Bridge Equipments, Bridge Resource Management and STCW classes. Also, during this time took ROSC/ARPA/ECDIS Simulator classes for post sea cadets in AMET City College.
